Watch 4 local artists demonstrate their painting skills and promote their art from 6:pm to 8:pm at Ashley's Art Gallery. Browse the gallery, have some refreshments and maybe try your hand at Plein Air Painting. This is the quick technique artists use to paint outdoors on location when they participate in the paint-outs. But since we are expecting cold and dark weather, we are having a paint-in !

Plus we will have a table equipped with artists paint, brushes and paper so that you can participate.  Popular artist and art instructor Rocky (Roxanna) Alexander will be on hand to help and to give you some painting tips. No painting experience necessary and no charge for the painting supplies. Or you can just watch and have some refreshments.

Meet Nationally Renowned Artist Luke Buck with Live Music by Jo Gore and the Alternative

Join us for an Art Show and Sale featuring the art of Luke Buck Saturday October 2 from 2:pm to 6:pm here at Ashley's Art Gallery, Fuquay-Varina, NC. Luke Buck is famous for his paintings of Vanishing Rural America. His portrayal of the local Raleigh landmark Yates Mill Pond will be on display in both the original painting and giclee canvas prints. Luke, an Indiana native, will bring betwen 40 and 45 original paintings ranging in prices from $850. to $12,000.
